Wayne & Josie - Owners
Own the business which Wayne & another businesspartner started in 1972. They are both big Volkswagen fans and own many vintageVolkswagens. They have both been great supporters of the Volkswagen Nationals that are held every year.
Steve - Parts
Steve - Has been at Qualitat since Feb 1987. He is the backbone of the parts department. He likes his motorbikes. He has been in the VW field for more years than he can remember.
Julian - Parts
Julian - Has been at Qualitat since Oct 2001. He has been working in the VW industry for many years. He has owned an offroader Baja and both late & early Kombis. He is married to Denese with 2 children.
Alaster - Parts
Alaster - Started at Qualitat late 2009. He has a partner Candice and a 2 year old daughter Dakota.
He enjoys playing cricket and supporting his favourite Football and Rugby league teams. Alaster is on the road looking after our trade customers and overseeing our overseas parts purchasing.
Andrew - Parts
Andrew - Started at Qualitat mid 2010. Andrew comes to Qualitat with a background of parts and distribution. He has a passion for older cars, sadly not yet any Volkswagens or Audis, but they may change! When he is not tinkering with his cars, he likes nothing better than heading north to the beach to do some fishing, or just generally relaxing. When at home, apart from cars, any other spare time is spent looking after the garden.
Shane - Parts
Shane - Started at Qualitat in the parts department in April 2011. He has a passion for Japanese performance cars and in his free time he plays computer games competitively and looking after his aquarium.
Julie - Office
Julie - Started with Qualitat in August 2007. Has been involved around the motor industry since 1985 in the UK before moving to NZ in 2003 along with husband Anton and three sons. Julie also has a married daughter who still lives in the UK.
Holly - Office
Holly - Has been at Qualitat since 1995. Does a bit of everything around the office. Both Holly and Ian (husband) enjoy watching and participating in motorsport. (Not VW's but Holdens!) She is the proud mother of Charlotte aged four.
Vagan - Workshop
Vagn - Has been at Qualitat since 1994. He is married to Kylie with two girls and a boy. He has been the service manager at Qualitat for the past few years and has extensive knowledge in Volkswagens and Audi. His interests are fishing, hunting, diving, mountain biking and snowboarding.
Saravan - Workshop
Saravan - He is from Malaysia and has been working at Qualitat since February 2003. He has had extensive Mercedes experience. He is married Vivian and has a son called Sanjay. His favourite interests are restoring any kind of car and he is passionate about his Jags .
Mo - Workshop
Mo - Started at Qualitat in July 2004. Mo is from South Africa and has been VW & Audi trained for the last 19 years (8 years at a dealership level). He is interested in model aircraft, boats & cars. He also enjoys computers. To relax he likes to go camping, hunting and boating.
Dirk - Workshop
Dirk - Started at Qualitat in May 2006. He enjoys playing his guitar and watching sports. He also enjoys watching motorsports.
Arnold - Workshop
Arnold - Started at Qualitat in March 2008. Originally from South Africa, he is married with two children and has been resident in New Zealand for 12 years. His main interest is ornithology.
Ron - General Duties
Ron has returned to work for Qualitat after a break away running his own business for 8 years. Ron has previously worked for Qualitat for over 20 years. He is married to Annette and has a grown up son and daughter.
